The idea of Cooking for Fertility was born when Randine Lewis invited me to write about the Fertile Soul retreat process. As I learned more about the amazing work Randine was doing to help women restore hormonal balance naturally, I developed a deep interest in Paul Pitchford’s Healing with Whole Foods and I began to explore how relaxation, exercise and specific foods could support optimal health through fertility, pregnancy and breast feeding.
Since 2006 I have been doing individual nutrition consultations with women and men worldwide and am always amazed at the changes one can experience through simple nutrition and lifestyle changes. Along the way most of my friends have become more interested in having babies. It has been fun to share recipes and ideas about having ahealthy pregnancy, while writing the cookbook and filming the cooking DVD with my friend and colleague Tiffany Pollard, owner of Eating for Evolution. It has been a true pleasure to collaborate with many amazing people along the way in the spirit of using the healing power of food to experience greater health and happiness!
